About People Management NE

Brief Overview

People Management SMD LLC specializes in retained executive search, selection, and consultation on issues related to job fit.

All of these services incorporate a process People Management has pioneered and continuously developed since 1961 called SIMA® (System for Identifying Motivated Abilities®) which identifies what a person is naturally motivated to do and does well. Through SIMA®, people discover their unique gifts which drive them to outstanding performance. Organizations and individuals using SIMA® have a competitive edge because they can assess "fit" and predict how optimal performance can be obtained.

People Management SMD LLC is a member of People Management International L.L.C. which has licensed relationships with 24 organizations throughout the United States and in Australia, England, Netherlands, and South Africa.

We have been able to serve a wide range of prestigious clients in diverse ways because individuals in key positions saw the extraordinary possibilities of a simple, yet at times, elusive line of reasoning.

  • People are more productive and satisfied when they are in jobs that make use of their natural Motivated Abilities.
  • Organizations and teams function more productively when they understand and make use of their natural Motivated Abiliites.
  • Organizations generally do not gather and maintain information on the natural Motivated Abilities of people and, as a result, make hiring and promotion decisions based on incomplete data.
  • Promoting employees or hiring people on the basis of success in current and past jobs, without understanding the reasons for their success can lead to costly mistakes.
  • The cost of poor job fit is enormous not only for the company but also for the individual.
  • Organizations can maximize the use of money, time, and resources by identifying and developing the natural abilities of their highly-valued employees.
  • As people understand Motivational Patterns, they become more effective managers of themselves and others.
