This workshop helps team members to better understand each other’s strengths and style so they can work more effectively with each other.
Process and Content
SIMA® MAP® with each team member
Each team member completes a pre-workshop questionnaire that is designed to assess how the team functions. Results are used to identify issues to work on during and after the workshop.
MAPs of each team member are shared and discussed with a particular focus on understanding:
When a person is most highly and least highly motivated.
Strengths and potential areas of weakness.
Types of people who are likely to do well or poorly with this person.
Ways to enhance the relationship and fit with this person and be of help to him/her.
Ways this person can be helpful to you.
Using their MAPs as a tool, team members explore the issue of conflict and its impact on team performance.
Working together, team members envision a way of functioning as a high performing team.
Working together, the team develops an Action Plan.
Each team member develops an individual Action Plan.
Ongoing coaching to help the team apply MAP information and follow through on action plans.
Outcomes
Greater understanding of each team member and how effective teams function.
Identification of issues the team and individuals must address, action plans for addressing them, and support during implementation.
A team that is better positioned to achieve its business goals and objectives.
