Using SIMA® and two specially designed workbooks (one for the manager and the other for direct reports), this program will improve the working relationships between direct reports and their manager by building upon a foundation of understanding and using that understanding in a constructive manner.
Process and Content
SIMA® MAP® with manager.
Preparation meeting with manager.
Direct reports have preparation meeting with coach/facilitator (optional).
Coach/facilitator facilitates meeting between manager and direct reports. Managers MAP® is shared and discussed with direct reports.
Direct reports meet with coach/facilitator to process meeting and to help establish action steps (optional):
Things to do to make the working relationship with your manager more effective.
Ways to contribute to the department and company.
Items to discuss with your manager in a one-on-one conversation.
Manager meets with coach/facilitator to process meeting.
Manager meets one-on-one with each direct report
Additional coaching by coach/facilitator, if desired.
Outcomes
Direct reports gain a clearer understanding of the manager’s style and expectations and the manager gains a clearer understanding of employee concerns which leads to more effective working relationships, greater synergy, and improved performance.
